Halling Colt Brings $50,000 Guineas at Tattersalls

A Halling colt out Galtres Stakes winner Rambling Rose topped day three of Tattersalls' October yearling sale (part 2) in Newmarket, England on Wednesday when bought by local trainer William Haggas for 50,000 guineas.
Haggas is looking for an owner for the colt on whom agent Luke Lillingston, with trainer Michael Bell, was underbidder.
The session saw 184 head sold for 2,333,900 guineas at an average price of 12,684 guineas. The median was 9,750 guineas, and the clearance rate was 72%.
