Ocean Terrace, a graded stakes winner from only five starts, has been retired from racing for stallion duty at Jeffry Morris' Highclere near Lexington. A $700,000 Keeneland September sale yearling, Ocean Terrace won his first three starts, including the El Camino Real Derby (gr. III), beating Ten Most Wanted, who was third. Retired prematurely because of an injury, Ocean Terrace earned $160,400 for Fog City Stable.

Bred by Damara Farm, Ocean Terrace is by Saint Ballado out of the stakes-winning Black Tie Affair mare Crystal River, who is a half-sister to Canadian champion Let's Go Blue. Ocean Terrace is being syndicated and will stand for $5,000 live foal.
