The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association (TOBA) has renewed its quarterly newsletter, now called
The TOBA Times, that will update its members and others on TOBA programs and initiatives.
The TOBA Times will be mailed in the Oct. 30 issue of
The Blood-Horse and will bring readers up to date on programs such as the Racing Medication and Testing Consortium, The Greatest Game, the Thoroughbred Championship Tour, membership benefits, and other important issues which affect Thoroughbred owners and breeders. "TOBA is pleased to renew its quarterly newsletter, now called
The TOBA Times," said TOBA president Dan Metzger. "Our goal is to keep our membership informed of TOBA events and programs throughout the year."
The October issue will recap the 2004 National Awards Dinner held at Juddmonte Farms, the Racing Medication and Testing Consortium, The Greatest Game, and will highlight a new membership benefit, Benefits By Choice (www.benefitsbychoice.org), a group association that provides non-insurance solutions.
The program, effective Oct. 15, has been designed for TOBA members and includes savings on prescription medicines, dental needs, eyeglasses and vision exams, physician and hospital visits, chiropractic, and more. Benefits By Choice is a national health care effort and includes a network of providers for most areas.
More information on TOBA appears on its Web site, www.toba.org.
