Pleasantly Perfect To Stand for $40,000

The stud fee for Pleasantly Perfect, a multiple grade I winner and a leading contender for Horse of the Year, has been set at $40,000. Owned by Gerald Ford's Diamond A Racing Corp., Pleasantly Perfect will stand in 2005 at William S. Farish's Lane's End Farm near Versailles, Ky.A son of champion and leading sire Pleasant Colony, Pleasantly Perfect captured last year's Breeders' Cup Classic – Powered by Dodge (gr. I) and this year's Pacific Classic Stakes (gr. I) and Emirates Airlines Dubai World Cup (UAE-I). He is currently in training for the Oct. 30 Classic.
