Pleasantly Perfect To Stand for $40,000

The stud fee for Pleasantly Perfect, a multiple grade I winner and a leading contender for Horse of the Year, has been set at $40,000. Owned by Gerald Ford's Diamond A Racing Corp., Pleasantly Perfect will stand in 2005 at William S. Farish's Lane's End Farm near Versailles, Ky.

A son of champion and leading sire Pleasant Colony, Pleasantly Perfect captured last year's Breeders' Cup Classic – Powered by Dodge (gr. I) and this year's Pacific Classic Stakes (gr. I) and Emirates Airlines Dubai World Cup (UAE-I). He is currently in training for the Oct. 30 Classic.
