Charles O'Bannon, Retired Charles Town Superintendent, Dead

Retired Charles Town superintendent Charles O'Bannon died Sept. 30 in Kearneysville, W.Va. The West Virginia native was 85.
O'Bannon served as track superintendent during his 39 years at Charles Town. He was in the Army during World War II and Korea.
O'Bannon's survivors include his wife of 58 years, Janet, plus son Jeffery and daughters Cynthia and Diane.
