Seeking the Gold's Fee Dropped to $125,000

The Hancock family's Claiborne Farm, which announced a $30,000 fee for incoming stallion Strong Hope, has dropped Seeking the Gold's fee from $150,000 to $125,000 for the 2005 season. On the other hand, the farm raised the fee of Pulpit   to $60,000 from $35,000. Pulpit is represented this year by four graded stakes winners, two of which are grade I winners.

Claiborne also announced fees of $25,000 for Monarchos  ; $10,000 for Boundary, Devil's Bag, and Horse Chestnut; $7,500 for Arch   and Out of Place; $5,000 for Flatter  ; and $3,000 for Private Terms.
