Robyn Dancer to Double LL in New Mexico

World-record setter Robyn Dancer, whose runners have earned $19.6 million, will stand the 2005 season at W.L. Mooring's Double LL Farm near Bosque, N.M.A grade III winner and third in the Breeders' Cup Sprint (gr. I), Robyn Dancer has sired 17 stakes winners and 22 stakes-placed runners. His son Dancing Guy won three graded stakes and has earnings of $914,768. Another son, King Robyn, was one of the country's top 3-year-old turf sprinters while racing in Southern California. He captured five stakes, four on turf, including two graded events. Robyn Dancer's leading filly, multiple stakes winner Superduper Miss, earned $608,964.Robyn Dancer, a 17-year-old by Crafty Prospector out of the Sword Dancer mare Double Dancer, set a world record at Hollywood Park for 7 1/2 furlongs. He stood the past season at Michael Sherman's Farnsworth Farms near Ocala, Fla., and has progeny earnings of $1.4 million this year. He will stand for $3,000 in 2005.
