(from Belmont Park notes)
Storm Flag Flying, preparing for a showdown with Sightseek in Saturday's $750,000 Beldame (gr. I) at nine furlongs, worked a half mile over Belmont's main track Sunday morning in :47 3/5, handily.

"She went really good," trainer Shug McGaughey said. "I think she's really on her game."

Though Azeri is absent from the Beldame lineup, the race provides an outstanding match-up between Storm Flag Flying, champion juvenile filly in 2002, and Sightseek, a romping winner of the Ruffian (gr. I) at Belmont a few weeks ago.

"Sightseek's a good one," McGaughey said. "Hopefully we can go in there and win and if we don't win, hopefully we'll run second."
