Last NTRA Pick 4 of the Year Offered Saturday

The NTRA National Pick 4 wager, offered in conjunction with the "NTRA Super Saturday" telecasts airing on ABC and ESPN, makes its fifth and final appearance of the year Saturday. Three grade I stakes from Belmont Park: the Jockey Club Gold Cup, the Joe Hirsch Turf Classic Invitational, and the Vosburgh Stakes; along with the Yellow Ribbon Stakes from Oak Tree at Santa Anita make up the wager.
Also on the telecast, but not part of the NTRA National Pick 4, is the Flower Bowl Invitational (gr. IT) from Belmont (approx. post time 4:09 p.m. EDT). All races will air live Saturday on ESPN from 4-6 p.m. EDT.
To bet the NTRA National Pick 4, which carries a $400,000 guaranteed pool and a $1 minimum wager, fans should ask for the "National Pick 4."Races, in order, and post times:
Vosburgh -- 4:40 p.m.
Joe Hirsch Turf Classic Invitational -- 5:12
Yellow Ribbon -- 5:27
Jockey Club Gold Cup -- 5:45
The first of five NTRA National Pick 4 wagers this year took place June 12 and returned $17,124.50 for each $1 winning ticket. Total handle was $616,849. The second NTRA National Pick 4 was offered on July 3, with a $1-winning ticket returning $3,939,50 and a handle of $992,784.
The third NTRA National Pick 4 took place on Aug. 14 and resulted in a payout of $2,705. Handle of $1,208,442. The most recent NTRA National Pick 4 was held on Sept. 26 and returned $89.25 with total handle of $493,939.
