Canada's Sovereign Awards Set Dec. 17

(from Jockey Club of Canada release)Canadian racing's 30th Annual Sovereign Awards will be held on Dec. 17 at the Wyndham Bristol Place Hotel Toronto.
Ballots for the 2004 season will be dispatched to a national panel of voters on Nov. 30. The three finalists in the fifteen divisional categories will be announced on Dec. 10. The three finalists for Horse of the Year will not be announced until the awards presentation.
Horses must make a minimum of three starts in Canada in 2004 prior to Nov. 28 in order to be eligible.
