A Woodman colt set an Italian record when he brought 280,000 euros ($343,308) Thursday during the opening session of the Societa Gestione Aste SRL (SGA) two-day select yearling sale at Settimo Milanese in Milan. The Pegasus Farms supremo purchased the colt from S.A.R.L.
The record-setter is out of the winning 10-year-old Arazi mare Elbaaha and is a half-brother to Electrocutionist (by
Red Ransom), winner of this year's Gran Premio d'Italia.
