El Prado's Fee Jumps to $100,000

El Prado joins breeding's $100,000 Club.
The stallion ranks has a new member of the $100,000 club.
El Prado, who stands at Frank Stronach's Adena Springs Kentucky near Midway, had his fee boosted to $100,000 from $75,000 for 2005. The leading sire in 2002, El Prado ranks second on this year's leading sires list, with progeny earnings of $7.4 million, and is runner-up by number of stakes winners, with 15, and the leader by stakes wins, with 25. He is the sire of such prominent 2004 turf stars as Kitten's Joy, Artie Schiller, Senor Swinger, and Timo, plus dirt standout Medaglia d'Oro.
Adena Springs also announced a doubling of the fee for
Alphabet Soup to $20,000. Alphabet Soup ranks eighth by progeny earnings, with $4.7 million, and is represented by 10 stakes winners.
Adena also announced the fees will remain the same for
Awesome Again ($75,000),
Gold Case ($7,500),
Golden Missile ($25,000),
Milwaukee Brew ($15,000),
Sligo Bay ($10,000), and
Touch Gold ($50,000). Congaree will enter stud next year for $15,000.
