William Inglis & Son's spring Thoroughbred sale in Australia enjoyed increases in business Friday at Newmarket. The 151 horses sold grossed $863,300 ($603,740) and averaged $5,717 ($3,998). Compared to a year ago, the gross rose 76% and the average increased 22%.Corporate King, a 4-year-old gelded son of Canny Lad -- Deep Pile, brought the auction's top price of $70,000 ($48,954). Consigned to dissolve the partnership that owned him, he was purchased by one of his part-owners, George Ziade. Corporate King has won four of his career races.
