Millionaire Lazy Lode has arrived for stallion duty at Fred Alexander's A&A Ranch near Anthony, N.M. His 2005 fee, $2,000, is what he stood for last year at Running Horse Farm near Albuquerque, N.M.
A group I winner in his native Argentina, 10-year-old Lazy Lode (Lode--Lazy Fables, by Babas Fables) won or placed in 10 stakes, nine of which were graded, following his arrival in the U.S. His two big wins came in consecutive runnings of the Hollywood Turf Cup Stakes (gr. IT).
