Online Bidding Available at First New York Breeders' Sale

The New York Breeders' Sales Company, the newly created Thoroughbred sales company located in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. has signed an agreement with Live Global Communications to provide web-casting and internet bidding on its inaugural auction, scheduled for Sept. 28-29.
"We are excited to offer the latest in sales tools available to our buyers with our inaugural sale," said Chip Landry, general manager and director of sales. "Our catalog is strong, but the market is competitive. The Live Global Bid technology allows us to reach the widest audience, in the most efficient manner possible. This is of benefit for both buyers and sellers alike."
The inaugural sale of the New York Breeders' Sales Company will be held Sept. 28-29, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Carousel Pavilion at Saratoga Race Course. There are more than 400 horses in the sale, including broodmares by Storm Cat and Seattle Slew, and mares in foal to such stallions as Fusaichi Pegasus and Point Given. First year covering sires represented by Milwaukee Brew, Posse, Say Florida Sandy, Wiseman's Ferry, Macho Uno, Hook and Ladder, Lido Palace, Mayskovsky, Rock Slide, Sligo Bay, Seeking Daylight, No Armistice, Crafty T.C., and Dessert Warrior.
The sale will kick off Sept. 28 with yearlings, followed by horses of racing age, and ending with weanlings. The second session of the sale will feature broodmares.
