Because of their large number of horses and quality, you probably won't ever go to a Keeneland September yearling sale and not visit the consignments of Lane's End, Eaton Sales, and Taylor Made Sales Agency. But there are plenty of other sellers that have horses that catch the eyes of buyers. Here's some we've heard could bring the big bucks during auction's select portion Monday and Tuesday.

No. Hip No. 489, Kingmambo -- Crown of Crimson colt, consigned by Lakland, agent. With apologies to the Bee Gees, we can tell by the way you use your walk, you're a racehorse, no time to talk. This smooth-striding colt is out of a stakes-winning Seattle Slew mare and is from the family of grade I winner Excellent Meeting. "He's always been one of the top horses," said Lyn Burleson, the farm manager for Lakland's Kentucky operation. "He's never had a problem any part of his life. He's very correct, he's got a lot of bone, he's got good balance. I think he's just a pure racehorse." There's also a bit of a buzz around the Lakland consignment's War Chant -- Safely Kept colt, Hip No. 371.

Hip No. 490, Rahy -- Crystal Crossing colt, consigned by Four Star Sales, agent. Beneficiary of a huge update when his half-brother, Godolphin's Rule of Law (by Kingmambo) won Saturday's St. Leger Stakes (Eng-I). "We figured he would be a big seller anyhow," said Four Star's Dan Kenny. "He's got a lot of scope and has good knees. There's nothing like having the right horse with the right update."

Hip No. 180, Giant's Causeway -- Touch of Greatness filly and Hip No. consigned by Three Chimneys Sales, agent. She's a half-sister to the last year's $3.8-million sale-topping Gone West filly and a full sister to the successful sire Elusive Quality  , whose son, Smarty Jones, won this year's Kentucky Derby (gr. I) and Preakness (gr. I). Also keep an eye on Hip. No. 51, a Seeking the Gold -- Jersey Girl colt, and Hip No. 396, an Elusive Quality--Star of Paris colt. Said Case Clay, director of sales at Three Chimneys, of the Elusive Quality colt: "He looks like a quick race horse. He's a full brother to (French champion) Elusive City."

Hip No. 281, Fusaichi Pegasus   -- Hidden Cat colt, consigned by Denali Stud, agent. He's the first foal from a stakes-winning Storm Cat mare and his second dam is Canadian champion Alywow. "He's got a serious pedigree, and he's a good-looking horse by a stallion off to a good start," Denali's Craig Bandoroff. Another standout is Hip No. 18, an A.P. Indy -- Exing colt. He's a half-brother to two group I winners in South America and to two group II winners on the same continent. "He's a big, good-looking A.P. Indy, Bandoroff said.

Hip No. 241, Unbridled's Song -- Cruising Haven colt, consigned by Paramount Sales, agent. He's a half-brother grade II winners Royal Haven (by Hail Emperor) and Belterra (by Unbridled).

Hip No. 373, Danzig -- Scads colt, consigned by Claiborne Farm, agent. He's from the family of the Canadian champion and great producer Fanfreluche (by Northern Dancer).

Hip No. 228, Kingmambo -- Chelsey Flower colt, consigned by Robert Courtney/Crestfield Farm, agent. His dam, a His Majesty mare, is a grade I winner.

Hip No. 318, Silver Deputy -- Mer de Glace colt, consigned by Mulholland Springs. Even though Mulholland is a small consignor, its horses racked up some very big numbers at last year's September sale. This colt, according to Martha Jane Mulholland, is the best of this year's group. He's the first foal out of the winning Unbridled mare Mer de Glace and is from the family of grade I winner Wild Rush.

Hip No. 402, Dynaformer -- Sun and Shade colt, consigned by Indian Creek, agent. This colt is a half-brother to English group II winner Daggers Drawn (by Diesis) and is from the family of Italian champion Count Dubois. Hip No. 68, a Pulpit -- Lillybuster filly that is from the family of champion Gilded Time is another said to be nice in the Indian Creek consignment.

Hip No. 442, Seeking the Gold -- Angel Fever colt, consigned by Stone Farm, agent for Stone Farm and Stonerside Farm. This colt is a half-brother to Kentucky Derby (gr. I) winner Fusaichi Pegasus.

Hip No. 246, Giant's Causeway---Devine Beauty colt, consigned by Hopewell Farm, agent. This colt is from the family of grade I winner Dramatic Gold.
