The closing date for nominations to Woodbine's fall turf classics, the Pattison Canadian International and its filly and mare companion, the E.P. Taylor Stakes (both Can-I), have been extended to Oct. 6.

The $1.5 million Pattison Canadian International and the $750,000 E.P. Taylor Stakes were originally set to close for nominations on Sept. 15.

"We've extended the deadline three weeks to give horsemen around the world more time to assess the possibility of running in our races," said John Whitson, vice president of Thoroughbred racing for Woodbine Entertainment Group. "There are no other changes to the conditions of the races."

The actual date of "International" day, Oct. 24, remains unchanged.
