Hall of Fame jockey Gary Stevens is expected to be back in the Del Mar jockeys' room on Friday ready to resume his role among the leaders of the Southern California riding contingent.

Stevens, who has been working for the past several months for France's premier trainer, Andre Fabre, gets his California comeback rolling aboard Fairly Run in the El Cajon Stakes for trainer Mike Puhich and the Jeff Mullins-trained Arbun in Friday's seventh race.

He'll have rides over the weekend in all three graded stakes. Stevens is aboard Fun House for trainer Ron McAnally in the Palomar Breeders' Cup Handicap (gr. IIT) Saturday, Rushin' to Altar for McAnally in the Del Mar Breeders' Cup Handicap (gr. II) Sunday and Laura's Lucky Boy for Jason Orman in the Del Mar Derby (gr. IIT) Monday.
