Churchill Downs has let go two marketing executives, according to a report in the Louisville
Courier-Journal.
Kevin Marie Nuss, vice president of marketing, and Larry Sinclair, director promotions, told the newspaper they were dismissed Aug. 23. Sinclair told the
Courier-Journal he was told the corporate marketing department of Churchill Downs Inc. would take over the functions.
Along with its flagship Louisville, Ky., racetrack, CDI owns Arlington Park, Calder Race Course, Ellis Park, Hollywood Park, and Hoosier Park.
Nuss, who joined Churchill in 1988, was named a vice president in 1994. Sinclair began working at Churchill part time in 1984. CDI wouldn't confirm details of the personnel moves, the newspaper reported.
