Tattersalls has catalogued 2,093 for parts 1 and 2 of its October yearling sale in England. Part 2 alone will be the largest yearling sale ever in Europe, with 1,302 horses being offered Oct. 11-16. Part 1 is scheduled for Oct. 5-8.

"Just as with part 1, we have been overwhelmed by the demand for places in the new look October yearling sale part 2, and the strength in depth has exceeded all expectations," Tattersalls chairman Edmond Mahony said. "The quality of the stallions and consignors represented is outstanding."

Thirty-four of the current top 40 British- and Irish-based sires are represented in the catalogue.
