Champion Storm Flag Flying Breezes

Ogden Mills Phipps' Storm Flag Flying breezed six furlongs in 1:13 4/5 over the Oklahoma training track at Saratoga Saturday morning as the 2-year-old filly champion of 2002 prepped for Friday's grade I, $400,000 Personal Ensign at 1 1/4 miles.

"The track was in great shape and she had a nice work," Hall of Fame trainer Shug McGaughey said. "She's doing excellent."

According to NYRA stakes coordinator Andrew Byrnes, probable for the race are Azeri, Nevermore, Storm Flag Flying, and Summer Wind Dancer. Board Elligible, Cloakof Vagueness, La Reason and Roar Emotion are listed as possible to run in the Personal Ensign.
