Magna Entertainment Official Tobin Resigns

Magna Entertainment Corp. announced Friday that Brian Tobin had resigned as the vice chairman and a director of the racetrack operating company.
"I have great respect for the MEC team and for Frank Stronach," said Tobin.
"Brian Tobin has been a great team leader and a great team player," MEC chairman Frank Stronach said in a statement. "The board of directors and I wish him well in his future business endeavors."
The statement said Stronach would conduct a media conference call Monday, Aug. 23.
