Boasting a record of five victories in seven career starts, Dream of Summer will lead a field of seven female speed burners to the post in Saturday's grade III, $150,000 Rancho Bernardo Handicap for fillies and mares going 6 1/2 furlongs on the main track at Del Mar.

The Rancho Bernardo will be run as the eighth race on the day's card and will share stakes billing with the grade I Del Mar Oaks, to be run earlier in the day.

Dream of Summer, trained by Juan Garcia, takes a three-race win streak into the fray and will carry high weight of 118 pounds, including Mike Smith.
