Grade II Winner Jackpot to Vessels in California

Jackpot, who won this year's Gulfstream Park Handicap (gr. II), has been retired from racing and will enter stud at Frank "Scoop" Vessels' Vessels Stallion Farm near Bonsall, Calif.
Raced as a homebred by Cynthia Phipps, 6-year-old Jackpot won the Gulfstream Park Handicap in what was his final start. The son of Seeking the Gold retired with four wins from 16 starts and earnings of $288,915.
Jackpot's dam, grade I stakes-placed Frolic (by Cox's Ridge), is a full sister to graded stakes winner Out of Place, who stands at Claiborne Farm near Paris, Ky. Frolic is a half-sister to graded stakes winner Lead Kindly Light, dam of grade I winner Gold Fever.
