Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I) winner Tiznow worked seven furlongs under jockey Chris McCarron at Santa Anita Saturday morning in 1:26 3/5, as the 4-year-old prepares for a possible start in the Jan. 13 San Fernando Breeders' Cup Stakes (gr. II). Tiznow has been bothered of late by various foot problems. "Everything looks good," said trainer Jay Robbins on Saturday. "Chris was very pleased (with the work). He did it real easy and galloped out real strong, like he wanted to keep running. I'm keeping my fingers crossed." Others possible for the San Fernando are Captain Steve, Nurdlinger, Walkslikeaduck, and Wooden Phone.

Kentucky Derby (gr. I) runner-up Aptitude worked Friday at Hollywood Park. Aptitude went three furlongs in :37 1/5 for trainer Bobby Frankel, who is undecided on where Aptitude will race next.
