Souvenir Copy, who began his stallion career at Rick Trontz' Hopewell Farm near Midway, Ky., arrived Tuesday at Betty Mabee's Golden Eagle Farm near Ramona, Calif. Souvenir Copy has sired four stakes winners, including unbeaten graded winner Souvenir Gift, who was selected the top 2-year-old filly at the recent Hollywood Park meeting.

Nine-year-old Souvenir Copy (Mr. Prospector--Dancing Tribute, by Nureyev) raced as a homebred grade II winner for Mabee and her late husband, John Mabee, in their Golden Eagle Farm silks. He won the Del Mar Futurity (gr. II) and Norfolk Stakes (gr. II) at two and captured another graded stakes, the Derby Trial Stakes (gr. III), at three.

Souvenir Copy's 2004 progeny earnings of $1.9 million will place him in the top five among California stallions. For his career, he is represented by the earners of $4.7 million.

Souvenir Copy's other stakes winners include two-time 2004 added-money winner Among My Souvenirs. He also has sired six stakes-placed runners.

The fee for Souvenir Copy, who stood this year for $12,500, will be announced later.
