Lion Heart Leads the List of Seven Expected for Haskell

Lion Heart, tops field for Haskell Invitational.
Lion Heart leads a field of seven expected for the $1-million Haskell Invitational Handicap (gr. I), going 1 1/8-miles on Aug. 8 at Monmouth Park. The Patrick Biancone-trained Lion Heart will carry a top weight of 121 pounds.
A grade I winning son of Tale of the Cat, Lion Heart has not breezed since he won the July 17 Long Branch Breeders Cup Stakes (gr. III), also at Monmouth.
Rock Hard Ten drilled five furlongs last Sunday in 1:02 1/5 at Del Mar for trainer Jason Orman. The Kris S. colt, winner of the Swaps Stakes (gr. I) at Hollywood Park, is scheduled to breeze again next Sunday in California.
The Michael Dickinson-trained Tapit will be making his first start since finishing ninth in the May 1 Kentucky Derby (gr. I). Tapit breezed seven furlongs in 1:30 at Delaware Park on Monday. The big gray colt had been working at Dickinson's Tapeta Farm in Maryland.
Courageous Act, second in the July 2 Iowa Derby for trainer Bob Baffert, has been training at Churchill Downs. The son of Exploit breezed five furlongs in 1:00 2/5 last Saturday.
Royal Assault, who is currently stabled in Saratoga with trainer Nick Zito, and My Snookie's Boy, trained by Allen Iwinski, have not breezed since running third and second, respectively, in the Long Branch.
Wimplestilskin had a sharp five-furlong breeze last week at Del Mar, getting the distance in :59. The son of Petionville
, third behind Boomzeboom in the June 19 Affirmed Stakes, is trained by Marcelo Polanco.
