First Winner for K One King

K One King  , who beat Almutawakel, Cat Thief, and Budroyale in winning the 2000 Oaklawn Handicap (gr. I), was represented by his first winner Sunday when the 2-year-old filly Queens Over Jacks won the third race at Ellis Park.

Ridden by John McKee for trainer Bernie Flint, Queens Over Jacks raced the 5 1/2 furlongs in 1:08 and won by 4 1 2/ lengths as the 4-5 favorite.

K One King, who won half of his 12 career starts and earned $683,010, stands at Gainesway Farm near Lexington, Ky.
