Pin Oak Stable's Alternate notched her second consecutive Robert G. Dick Memorial Breeders' Cup Handicap for fillies and mares on the grass at Delaware Park Saturday.

Ridden by Ramon Dominguez, the 5-year-old daughter of Seattle Slew notched a neck victory over Lady of the Future, with Harry Vega astride. Primetimevalentine, with John Velazquez aboard, finished third. The final time for the 1 3/8 miles on a firm turf course was 2:20. Alternate returned $5.40 as the favorite in the field of ten contesting the $150,000 stakes.

The Kentucky-bred trained by H. Graham Motion raised her career record to six wins from 21 starts with earnings of $550,000. Motion has extended his streak of winning a stake on Delaware Handicap Festival Weekend to five and it was his third straight victory in the Robert G. Dick. In 2002, he won with New Economy.
