Greenwood Lake, who won the Champagne Stakes (gr. I), came through with his first winner when Irish Meadow won July 13 at Philadelphia Park. Bred by William Allen and Jeff Berk, she scored in 1:00.89 for five furlongs for Forty Acres and A Mule Stable.Greenwood Lake (Meadowlake -- Au Printemps, by Dancing Champ) stands at Margaux Farm near Midway. Ky. His 2004 fee was $6,000.
