Trainer James Fanshawe and jockey Johnny Murtagh notched their second group I win of the week when 14-1 shot Frizzante won Thursday's Darley July Cup (Eng-I) at Newmarket, England.On Tuesday, Fanshawe and Murtagh teamed to win Newmarket's Falmouth Stakes (Eng-I) with Soviet Song.In the July Cup, Frizzante, a 5-year-old daughter of Efisio, started in last and gradually made headway until she unleashed a late surge to nip 100-1 shot Ashdown Express by a neck. It was two lengths back to 25-1 shot Balmont. Exceed and Excel, the 4-1 favorite, finished next to last in the 20-horse field. The final time for six furlongs over –good to soft" turf was 1:11.51."I don't think I will ever repreat this group I double so I should make the most of it," Fanshawe told Channel 4 television. "It's been a fantastic couple of days."The British-bred mare has now won seven of 13 career starts.
