Hollywood Gold Cup Goes Prime Time

The $750,000 Hollywood Gold Cup (gr. I), from Hollywood Park will highlight Saturday's "Road to the World Thoroughbred Championships Powered by Dodge" on ESPN2, airing between 8-9 p.m. Also on tap is same day coverage of the $300,000 Swaps Breeders' Cup Stakes (gr. II) and a recap of the six-race Summit of Speed from Calder Race Course in Miami.

Hosting Saturday's coverage will be Jeff Medders, joined by analyst Randy Moss and reporter Jeannine Edwards.

The four-month, 17-program "Road to the World Thoroughbred Championships" features more than 40 races in all eight Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred Championships divisions and concludes with a special on Oct.29 from Lone Star Park, site of the following days World Thoroughbred Championships.
