OBSC Sale Begins Tuesday; Workouts Completed

Big House Red, a colt by Stormy Atlantic   consigned by Tony Bowling and Bobby Dodd, zipped a quarter-mile in :21 flat as the fastest work at the distance at Sundays second and final session of the "Under Tack Show" for the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's 2004 June Sale of 2-Year-Olds in Training and Horses of Racing Age. The chestnut colt was produced from Blaze DeWitt (by Pentelicus), a half sister to graded stakes winner Youmadeyourpoint.

The session's fastest eighth mile breeze was turned in by Weekend Tiger, a colt by Tiger Ridge who stopped the timer in :10 1/5. Consigned by Pinewood Bloodstock, the chestnut colt is out of Clever Jocey, by Clever Trick.

Two horses shared honors for the session's fastest three eighths with a :33 3/5 clocking. One was Urge to Splurge, a bay filly by Successful Appeal   out of stakes placed Half Mast, by Tunerup, a half sister to millionaire OBS graduate Isitingood, consigned by Cardinal Hill Farm (Norman E. Casse). The other horse posting that workout time was La Profesora, a bay filly by Impeachment out of Indeed Yes, by Shadeed, consigned by Francisco Gardea.

The sale's fastest three eighths of a mile work was posted by a colt by Honour and Glory out of graded stakes winner Meafara, consigned by Equine Legacy Farm (Tony and Robin Hendrix), who worked in :33 1/5 on Saturday.

On Saturday, two horses consigned by Wingate Sales Agency (France Weiner) equaled the :10 1/5 for an eighth of a mile. The two were Princess Harbor, a bay filly by Artax out of Royal Fit, by Native Royalty, and is a half sister to graded stakes winner U Can Do It, and a bay colt by Precise End out of Saratoga Social, by Saratoga Six, a half-sister to stakes placed Mickey T.V.

The June Sale is scheduled for Tuesday, June 15 and Wednesday, June 16, with sessions beginning at 11 a.m. (ET) daily.
