Chance of Showers Increases at Belmont

Forecasters upgraded the chance of showers to 60% at Belmont Park Saturday as Smarty Jones goes for the Triple Crown in the Belmont Stakes (gr. I).

According to weather.com, the predicted high Saturday is 61 degrees with winds from the east northeast at 21 MPH.

The high temperature at Elmont, NY, on Friday was 65 degrees under mostly cloudy skies.
