Millionaire Redattore, winner of last year's Shoemaker Breeders' Cup Mile Stakes (gr. IT) at Hollywood Park, will begin stallion duties in his native Brazil at Silvio Crespi's Haras Calunga Agropecuaria near Sao Paulo. The son of Roi Normand out of the Deputy Minister mare Political Intrigue was retired because of an ankle injury.
Foaled in 1995, Redattore won 15 of 32 starts and earned $1,799,883. He was a group I winner in Brazil and a grade I winner at Del Mar, taking the Eddie Read Handicap on turf. His female family traces to the great foundation mare La Troienne.
