First Winners for Dixie Union, Dance Master

Millionaire and grade I winner Dixie Union and grade II winner Dance Master were represented by their first winners the end of May. Masa, a daughter of Dixie Union bred by Diamond A Racing Corporation, won at first asking May 29 by five lengths for the Maktoum family's Godolphin at Lingfield in England. Dixie Union (Dixieland Band--She's Tops, by Capote) stands for $30,000 at William S. Farish's Lane's End Farm near Versailles, Ky.

Dance Master's first winner, Flamenco, won May 28 in :58.55 for five furlongs at Belmont Park in his first start. Bred by Moloney and Thompson, he races for Peachtree Stable. Dance Master (Gone West--Nijinsky's Lover, by Nijinsky II) stands for $3,500 at Satish and Anne Sanan's Padua Stables near Summerfield, Fla.
