Nominations close June 4 for Del Mar's two premier stakes for 2-year-olds, the Aug. 28 Del Mar Debutante (gr. I) and the Sept. 8 Del Mar Futurity (gr. II).
The nomination fee for each race is $250 with no sustaining payments required. Both events are held at seven furlongs with $250,000 guaranteed purses.
For those missing the nomination date, there is a supplemental fee of $10,000 available for each race up until time of entry.
Last year Wertheimer Farm's Halfbridled won the Debutante and B. Wayne Hughes' Siphonizer captured the Futurity. Both were trained by Richard Mandella and ridden by Julie Krone.
Del Mar's 43-day season runs from July 21-Sept. 8.
