First Winners for Magic Cat, Matricule

Young stallions Magic Cat and Matricule were represented by their first winners recently. Magic Cat's first winner, Rhome Magic, won at five furlongs in :59.30 May 21 at Lone Star Park. Bred by Johnny Vinson, she races for owner Caroline Dodwell. Magic Cat (Storm Cat--With a Twist, by Fappiano) stands at Valor Farm near Pilot Point, Texas.

Matricule's first winner, My Buddy, ran :51.60 to win at 4 1/2 furlongs May 23 at Emerald Downs in his first start. Matricule (A.P. Indy--Maximova, by Green Dancer) stands at Allaire Farms near Poulsbo, Wash.
