Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (gr. I) winner Cash Run breezed three furlongs at Santa Anita Wednesday in preparation for the $150,000 Princess Stakes Saturday at Hollywood Park. The 3-year-old Padua Stables' filly was timed in :37 1/5 seconds over a fast track.
"She's a little bit fussy about her racetrack," said trainer D. Wayne Lukas of Cash Run, whose three stakes wins have all come at Gulfstream Park. "But she looks good. She seems to be doing better."
In her most recent start, the daughter of Seeking the Gold finished fourth in the Black-Eyed Susan Stakes (gr. II) on May 19. Victor Espinoza will ride Cash Run in the Princess.
Others probable for the Princess, with jockey, are: Annie Lil, Tyler Baze; Mimi's Cafe, no rider named; Queenie Belle, Brice Blanc; Saudi Poetry, Corey Nakatani; and Wired To Fly, Kent Desormeaux.
