Straight Man's First Winner

Grade II winner Straight Man was represented by his first winner when his son Right Hand Man won May 15 at Calder Race Course at first asking. Bred by Mike and Judy Crowe, Right Hand Man scored by six lengths in :53.79 for 4 1/2 furlongs for Vinery Stables.
Straight Man (Saint Ballado--Brilliant Melody, by Cornish Prince) won the Winnercomm Handicap (gr. II) and ran second in the Malibu Stakes (gr. I). He stands for $6,000 at William Schettine's Signature Stallions near Ocala, Fla.
