Irish group II winner
will return to Trelawney Stud in Cambridge, New Zealand, following his present stallion duties at Ashford Stud near Versailles, Ky. Last year, the 4-year-old son of
Storm Cat covered well over 100 mares while on his New Zealand debut, and with his fertility rate running at 88%, he will get about 100 foals on the ground this year.
A half-brother to four U.S. graded stakes winners, Van Nistelrooy won half his six starts and ran second in the Aga Khan Stud National Stakes (Ire-I). He is out of the Halo mare Halory, whose offspring includes group II winner Halory Hunter.
