Storm Creek to Shuttle to Stoney Bridge in New Zealand

California stallion Storm Creek is scheduled to shuttle to Stoney Bridge near Karaka, New Zealand, where he will stand for $NZ8,500 (approximately $5,100), plus GST. The 11-year-old son of Storm Cat out of the Mr. Prospector mare Shawnee Creek currently stands at Rancho San Miguel near San Miguel, Calif., for $7,500 as the property of the farm and the Taylor family's Taylor Made Farm.

A graded stakes winner, Storm Creek has sired eight stakes winner, including grade I winner Stormy Pick, and 14 stakes-placed runners. Stormy Pick's big win came in the Spinaway Stakes (gr. I) at Saratoga. During his career, Storm Creek has sired the earners of $8.5 million.

Storm Creek began his stallion career at Mockingbird Farm near Ocala, Fla., and later stood at Taylor Made near Nicholasville, Ky.
