Moonshee Mountain, a $1 million Keeneland July sale yearling, came through with his first winner when his son Monashee Prince won April 26 at five furlongs at Hamilton Park in England. Owned by Richmond Thoroughbreds, the colt was produced from the Lycius mare Lodema.

Monashee Mountain (Danzig -- Prospectors Delite, by Mr. Prospector) was a two-time group winner in Ireland. A half-brother to North American Horse of the Year Mineshaft  , he stands at Coolmore Stud in Ireland.
