The Bobby Frankel-trained Sightseek leads a talented seven-horse field for Friday's $300,000 Louisville Breeders' Cup Handicap (gr. II), going 1 1/16-mile race on the Kentucky Oaks (gr. I) undercard.
Sightseek enters the race off a seven-length win in the March 14 Rampart Handicap (gr. II) at Gulfstream Park. The 4-year-old daughter of Distant View began the year by finishing fourth in the Jan. 25 Santa Monica Handicap (gr. I) at Santa Anita.
Sightseek, who is the highweight at 122 pounds, will have Jerry Bailey aboard.
Challenging Sightseek will be the Carl Nafzger-trainer Lead Story, who finished third behind Sightseek in the Rampart Handicap. She began the year with a third-place finish in the Feb. 15 Sabin Handicap (gr. III).
Calvin Borel will have the mount aboard Lead Story who will carry 116 pounds.
Another filly to watch is the 4-year-old Claiborne Farm-homebred Yell. The Shug McGaughey-trainee finished third in the April 7 Madison Stakes at Keeneland in her lone start of the year.
The field for the $300,000 Louisville Breeders' Cup Handicap (gr. II) includes:
1 -- Yell (Pat Day, 114)
