Hall of Fame jockey Russell Baze capped a five-win afternoon by guiding heavy favorite Point Dume to a front-running victory in Sunday's $33,047 feature at Bay Meadows.

Baze, who tops the Bay Meadows jockey standings with 30 victories through 15 days of racing at the 2004 spring meeting, also won the second race with Cee's Cheetah ($2.80), the third with Starspell ($4.60), the fifth with Ended ($3.20) and the sixth with Souvenir's Lad ($12.20).

Point Dume ($3) turned back a challenge from Dancin Candy on the far turn and then just held off stretch runner Talaris by aneck to win the one-mile allowance for 3-year-olds by a neck in 1:36.
