Horses Return to Arlington Park

The horses return to Arlington Park April 26, when the track opens its barn area at 8:00 a.m. Several outfits are expected to arrive on Monday, the first day the track's barn area is available for stabling.
Arlington can house 2,140 horses in 35 barn stable area. Training on Arlington's 1 1/8-mile main track begins Wednesday at 5:30 a.m. Training hours on the main track will be 5:30-9 a.m. (with no maintenance break) on Wednesday and Thursday. Regular training hours of 5:30-10:15 a.m. (with maintenance breaks at 7 and 8:30 a.m.) will begin April 30.
Arlington Park will run a 96-day meet in 2004 from Friday, May 14 through Sunday, Sept. 19.
