Robert Lawrence Vanaman, 57, died April 11 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. He was employed by Sheikh Maktoum's Gainsborough Farm and was an active member of the Thoroughbred Farm Managers' Club. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Patricia.
