Smoke Glacken Colt Blazes in OBS Spring Sale Drill

Smoke Glacken consigned by Costanzo Sales, drilled a quarter-mile in :20 3/5 to post the fastest work at the distance at the final session of the Under Tack Show for the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's 2004 Spring Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training.
It's the fastest quarter mile breeze in OBS history. The chestnut colt, Hip No. 1187, is out of Flo White, by Whitesburg, and is a half brother to stakes-placed Star White.
Two horses worked quarters in :21 1/5. Hip No. 1027, Whosaidiwould is a Top Account filly consigned by Tradewinds Farm, agent, out of Complicated Life, by Believe it, a daughter of stakes winner Sans Critique and half sister to stakes winner Praise Her. Hip No. 1056, Cut the Mustard, a Double Honor filly consigned by Farnsworth Farms, agent, is out of Cuthershort, by Fortunate Prospect, a half sister to stake winner Maryinthemorning.
The session's fastest eighth was turned in by Hip No. 945, Straight Shine, a colt by
Straight Man consigned by Wesfield Sales (Robert and Saronda Smith), agent, who stopped the timer in a swift :10 flat. The dark bay or brown colt is out of Brandy Shine, by Hooched, a half sister to stakes winner Dandy Shine.
Hip No. 1210, a
Tiger Ridge filly consigned by Hartley/De Renzo Thoroughbreds, LLC, agent, was timed in :10 1/5. The bay filly is out of Fuzzy Risque, by Fuzzy, a half sister to stakes winner Coax Chad.
Hip No. 976, Propulsion, a
Malibu Moon colt consigned by New Episode Training Center, Inc., agent, worked the session and sale's fastest three eighths, a :33 1/5 clocking. The dark bay or brown colt is out of Carrhopper, by Carr de Naskra, a half sister to stakes placed Fufi S.
Hip No. 963, Collegiate Honor, a Double Honor colt consigned by Farnsworth Farms, agent, worked three eighths in :33 4/5. The chestnut colt is out of Camptown Miss, by Carr de Naskra, and is a full brother to stakes winner College Honor.
