Georgica Stable's Buy The Sport was scratched from Saturday's featured race, the $150,000-added Bed o'Roses Breeders' Cup (gr. III) for fillies and mares at a mile at Aqueduct.
"She had a little bellyache, so we took her to the hospital in New Jersey just to be safe," said trainer Bobby Barbara on Saturday morning. "It was a little colic, but she's fine now."
After making sure she was okay, Barbara immediately shipped Buy the Sport back to Belmont Park stable.
A 4-year-old
Devil's Bag filly, Buy The Sport has not raced since running fifth in the Breeders' Cup Distaff (gr. I) at Santa Anita on Oct. 25. She has been winless in two starts since winning the Gazelle (gr. I) at Belmont in September.
