Preakness Stakes (gr. I) winner Red Bullet highlighted Wednesday's work tab. Stronach Stable's 3-year-old son of Unbridled worked four furlongs at Adena Springs Farm. Red Bullet completed his half-mile in :49 2/5 seconds, handily, on a track rated "good." In his most recent race, Red Bullet finished third in Albert the Great's Dwyer Stakes (gr. II) in July at Belmont Park.
Chilukki worked five furlongs on a fast track at Santa Anita, breezing the distance in :59 3/5.
Also working at Santa Anita Wednesday was Turnberry Isle, who finished a respectable sixth in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile (gr. I) in his North American racing debut. Now trained by D. Wayne Lukas, Michael Tabor and Mrs. John Magnier's Deputy Minister colt went four furlongs in :50, handily. Turnberry Isle has won three of five career races, including the Juddmonte Beresford Stakes (Ire-III) while trained by Aidan O'Brien. He also finished second in the Serpentine Gallery Royal Lodge Stakes (Eng-II). Out of Kentucky Oaks winner Blush With Pride, Turnberry Isle is a full brother of Demoiselle Stakes (gr. II) winner Better Than Honour and a half-brother of Prix d'Astarte (Fr-II) winner Smolensk, who also finished second in the Coronation Stakes (Eng-I).
Gaviola worked four furlongs on the main track at Gulfstream Park Wednesday. Gaviola, who won four graded stakes races in 2000, completed the distance in :49 2/5 while breezing for trainer William H. Turner Jr.
